at the SANTA CRUZ COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

The Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds Foundation and the Agricultural History Project are the proud to present a new Holiday Family Tradition at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds for the Holiday Season. Open now on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, get you tickets early!

HOLIDAY LIGHTS is a 1/2 mile drive through experience at the Fairgrounds of spectacular lighted Holiday displays all around you. Giant Christmas trees twinkling with lights – Santa – reindeer – snowmen – lighted tunnels and many more magical moments. Stay in your warm car and drive through this Holiday Experience. You can tune your radio to KDUB 99.9 FM and enjoy the the Holiday Lights Soundtrack in your car. 

The event is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings for five weeks (14 evenings, weather permitting) from Thanksgiving weekend through Christmas weekend. Hours from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. We will be closed Christmas Day. We recommend you purchase your reservation ticket early. You also drive up and purchase a ticket at the gate.

After your magical journey through the Lights stop at the Holiday Food Stands and pick up your favorites for the drive home. Each week different fair food vendors will be available for your enjoyment. You can stay in your car and they will come to you. Community groups were given an opportunity to create a lighted Display for the Holiday Season. These beautiful lighted displays can be found along throughout your drive through the grounds.
